Flavorful drinks without spirits

These ten nonalcoholic recipes use fruit, herbs, spices, and bubbles to make drinks with their own character. There are familiar favorites, including Virgin Mojito and Virgin Piña Colada, alongside fresh citrus fizzes and a warm tea drink. None of these recipes calls for an alcoholic spirit or liqueur.

Virgin Mojito is minty and bright with lime. Virgin Piña Colada combines coconut milk, pineapple, and lemon. Pineapple Mocktail and Watermelon Cooler use lemon-lime soda, as do Citrus Burst Fizz and Cucumber Basil Fizz. Ginger Lemonade brings fresh ginger and honey, while classic Lemonade keeps things simple with lemon, syrup, and soda water.

Something still or something warm

Baby Bellini pairs peach juice with lemon for a still, fruity drink. Nonalcoholic Grog uses black tea, orange, honey, lemon, and spice. Add fizzy mixers just before serving and use the recipe's specified mixer: lemon-lime soda adds sweetness that plain soda water does not.
