These Terms of Use (Terms) cover https://cocktail-guide.com, including its language versions (the Website), and the mobile app Cocktail Recipes: Bar Drinks (the App), together the Services.

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms to the extent a binding agreement may be formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the Services. These Terms do not replace any separate consent required for analytics or personal-data processing.
1. The Services
We provide cocktail recipes, ingredient information, collections, bartending guides, discovery tools, and related features for personal informational and entertainment use. The Website provides public content and links to download the App. Browsing the Website does not create an App account or start a subscription.
The App offers free features and optional Premium access. Available features, free limits, prices, and purchase conditions are shown in the App before purchase. Internet access may be needed for downloads, synchronization, purchases, updates, and connected features, even where other App features work offline. Your provider's data charges may apply.
2. Age, alcohol, and safe preparation
You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use the Services or access alcohol-related content. Comply with local alcohol laws and consume responsibly. Do not drink and drive or use the Services to encourage unsafe or unlawful drinking.
Recipes and guides are informational, not medical, nutritional, legal, or professional safety advice. Alcohol strength, serving sizes, and nutritional values are estimates. Check ingredient labels, allergens, suitability, and food safety before preparing or serving a drink. A “non-alcoholic” label does not guarantee that every ingredient or substitute is suitable for every medical, dietary, religious, or legal requirement. You are responsible for safe preparation and for the ingredients and equipment you choose.
3. App accounts and deletion
App sign-in is optional, although synchronization and certain account features may require it. Apple or Google handles authentication under its own terms; we do not receive your provider password. Keep your sign-in account secure and notify us of suspected unauthorized use.
Delete your App account through Profile → Delete Account, or contact support for assistance. Deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting an account or uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through the store account used to purchase them.
4. Permission to use the Services
Subject to these Terms and applicable platform terms, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to use the Services for lawful personal purposes. You may use recipes to prepare drinks and share links to Website pages.
You must not:
- Disrupt the Services, bypass access controls or paid-feature restrictions, or introduce malicious code.
- Access another person's account or data without authorization, or misrepresent your identity.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or misleading content, or another person's private information without a lawful basis.
- Copy or commercially redistribute substantial parts of our text, images, databases, branding, or software without permission, except as allowed by law.
- Use automated access that unreasonably burdens the Services, or exploit security flaws. Ordinary search-engine indexing in accordance with our crawling instructions is permitted.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent protection measures, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it.
5. Premium, subscriptions, and purchases
Premium is purchased in the App through Apple App Store or Google Play. Available plans may include monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and, where offered, a one-time Lifetime purchase. The store purchase screen states the applicable price, currency, billing period, trial or introductory offer, and included features. Do not confirm a purchase unless you accept those conditions.
Subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the applicable store's rules before renewal. Manage or cancel them in your store account settings. Cancellation generally stops future renewals; the store's terms and mandatory law determine remaining access and any refund.
Lifetime access. A Lifetime purchase is a one-time, nonrenewing purchase for the included Premium features during the operating lifetime of the App. It does not promise that the App or every feature will operate indefinitely. This does not limit mandatory rights or remedies if paid services are changed or discontinued.
Payments and restoration. The store processes payment and controls its billing system. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore them, and synchronize entitlements; it is not the payment processor. Use Restore Purchases in the App with the store account used for purchase. Access on another platform is subject to the plan and platform conditions shown to you; it is not automatically guaranteed.
Refunds and consumer rights. Request refunds and resolve store billing issues through the applicable store; contact us for entitlement or technical issues. Store procedures do not remove any mandatory withdrawal, refund, conformity, or other consumer rights you have under applicable law. Future price or plan changes apply only as permitted by law and store rules, with notice or agreement where required.
6. Your content
You retain your rights to Notes, Custom Cocktails, photos, and other original content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, synchronize, and display that content only as needed to provide the requested Services and support their operation. This does not transfer ownership to us or grant a right to use private content in advertising.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for content you submit. We may restrict or remove content when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or address misuse. Keep independent copies of content important to you; synchronization is not a guaranteed backup service. Deletion and any necessary residual retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Our content and third-party services
Our software, original text, images, design, branding, and protectable database elements belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not claim exclusive ownership of general recipe ideas, facts, or material that is not protected by law. Other than the permission above, rights are reserved to the extent recognized by law. Contact us about permission requests or suspected infringement with enough detail to identify the material and your claim.
The Services link to or depend on third parties, including app stores, Apple/Google sign-in, RevenueCat, Firebase, PostHog, and hosting providers. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their services. We do not control external content or guarantee their availability. A link does not imply endorsement.
8. Availability, changes, and termination
We may update the Services and make reasonable changes for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or product development. We may restrict access for a material breach of these Terms or unlawful use, taking proportionate action and providing notice where practicable and required. We may act immediately where needed to prevent harm or meet a legal obligation.
If we discontinue or materially change paid functionality, we will respect applicable notice, refund, and other mandatory consumer obligations. We do not reserve a right to remove paid entitlements in violation of those obligations.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy of every recipe or estimate, or suitability for your particular circumstances. You remain responsible for your alcohol consumption and safe preparation choices.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use or unavailability of the Services. This exclusion does not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot lawfully be limited for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or mandatory consumer guarantees. Nothing in these Terms excludes or reduces nonwaivable rights or remedies.
10. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how the Website and App process personal information, use service providers, and handle deletion requests. Optional Website analytics is controlled through the cookie banner and Cookie settings in the footer. App permissions and data settings are separate. Accepting these Terms does not constitute consent to optional analytics.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, subject to any mandatory protections of the law of your habitual residence. This choice does not deprive consumers of rights or access to courts available under mandatory applicable law. No exclusive Ukrainian forum or mandatory arbitration is imposed on consumers by these Terms.
Please contact support@cocktail-guide.com to try to resolve a concern. Contacting us first is not a condition for exercising statutory rights or bringing a claim before a competent court or authority.
12. Updates, language versions, and contact
The date on this page identifies the latest revision. Material changes apply prospectively with notice or acceptance where required by law. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or alter an existing paid purchase contrary to law or store rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
Language versions are intended to have the same meaning. Any discrepancy is interpreted consistently with mandatory law and applicable consumer protections; no translation overrides your statutory rights.
