Choose tart, spirit-forward, or creamy

Amaretto Sour pairs the almond-flavored liqueur with lemon, bitters, and egg white. Godfather combines it with whisky; Godmother uses vodka; French Connection uses Cognac. These short recipes show how the base spirit changes the balance without needing a large ingredient list.

Coffee and tropical variations

Toasted Almond adds Kahlúa and cream. Screaming Orgasm combines amaretto with vodka, coffee liqueur, Baileys, cream, and milk for a richer dessert-style drink. Stiletto goes in a fruitier direction with banana liqueur, orange, and pineapple. Use amaretto liqueur for these recipes: an amaretto-flavored syrup is a different ingredient and does not produce the same drink. Measure the sweet ingredients carefully and follow the individual method, especially for the shaken egg-white sour and dairy-based recipes.
